The Angels Are Coming!

My newest novella, “Warrior Angel, Heart’s Desire”, part one of the Immortal Pleasures series is coming out on March 26^th.

In this story, Michael, Archangel of War, takes on love for the first time. He’s been Banished because Michael’s not so good at following rules sometimes. He doesn’t know what everyone gets so mad about, but there he is, gold wings turned white, and Banished to earth for a century.

In the last year of his Banishment, Michael meets Laine and falls in love. This is so new to Michael, that he can’t imagine giving it up. He’s never felt an emotion so deep, or needed anything so badly as he needs to have Laine in his life.

I took on this story because it intrigued me. I wanted to find out how an immortal being, who was used to being all powerful, would react if his emotions took him to places he’d never explored.

Writing Lucifer into this story was a lot of fun, because I got to explore him a little, and push beyond the stereotype of evil, lustful demon.

Raphael, the Archangel of Healing, is brother to both Lucifer and Michael. His part was fun to write, because Raphael is all about healing, but he can be tough as steel.
